Percussive Instinct is the collaborative effort between longtime colleagues Colin Constance and Tristan Moody.

Tristan Moody has been a front ensemble instructor and percussion arranger for the last six years. He spent three years performing on the Drum Corps International circuit, playing in the front ensemble for Southwind and GLASSMEN, and he was a member of the University of Kansas Marching Jayhawks drumline for three years. Tristan currently lives in Lawrence, Kansas, where he is a doctoral student in mechanical engineering.

Colin Constance has been teaching and arranging percussion for the last seven years. He holds a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Kansas, where he was a drumline member for five years. He currently teaches elementary music in the Kansas City area.
